I have always had a keen interest in all aspects of health and fitness, but it wasn’t until I met Fi, that I kicked things up a notch. For years I struggled with motivation and consistency where my training and nutrition were concerned. I would go all out for a couple of weeks, and then my efforts would slowly taper down, and I’d be back to square one. Not only did I find this extremely frustrating, but I just wasn’t progressing. I was going around and around in a vicious circle.
I had spotted Fi at the gym and thought she looked very friendly and super fit. So I enlisted her as my trainer. From the get go she was nothing short of understanding and enthusiastic. I felt comfortable with her from the beginning. We discussed my goals and got started straight away. Fi managed to get the best out of me in each and every session. She has taught me so much. More than she may even realise. I honestly can’t thank you enough. You have been such an inspiration. I am not only proud to call you my trainer, but also my friend. Thanks Fi Jacque Campbell

Fiona led a support crew two years running for my team in one of the toughest endurance events in Australia – Oxfam Trailwalker. On a personal note I cannot thank her enough for her strengh and support during the hardest 24 hours of my life. She helped me to realise that training and exercise is purely mind over matter, and that with encouragement you can push yourself beyond anywhere you ever thought possible. Thanks to Fiona I pushed my boundaries out again and again during this time. Fi fi you’re a legend and an inspiration to us all!

Just wanted to give you some feedback on the brilliant job you have been doing at school. Getting the whole school involved along with the local Macro store was a huge effort & well worth it. The relationship the kids enjoy with their community health shop is great. We always get a warm welcome when we go shopping. The kids also had the opportunity to examine their diet & lifestyles & the food they eat. The trying something new challenge stirred up a lot of conversation & thought amongst the school community!
I am especially grateful that my eldest son was able to experience this whole perspective & class discussion as he is on a very restricted diet for his eczema. His diet turns out to be a very healthy one compared to many of his peers. It was only through your process of education that he & his class mates were able to understand better & view him as a healthy eater & not a ‘strange’ eater. Having seen him suffer for the past few years with not only the itch & associated poor health, but the feeling different from everyone has torn at my heart. So you can understand my excitement at your program, health & diet being one of my passions too. Hopefully this generation will fair better than previous ones when it comes to obesity, heart conditions & overall ability to survive until old age, thanks in big part to you!
Also, we discussed the possibility of the inclusion of a recipe with each school newsletter. I think this would be very useful. I am always on the look out for interesting recipes I can use!
I do hope you are recognized for the important role you are performing with our children, and can continue to share your knowledge & experience.
I have to say I admire your energy & drive! Wishing you continued good luck.
Best wishes

I just wanted to say a huge, big thank you to you for the wonderful job you are doing at my children’s school. I have three children who attend Black Rock Primary School. They are in grades one, three and five. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am that they are now so excited about eating healthy foods. My children have always been somewhat hesitant to try new foods, they are now enthusiastic about the prospect of trying something different. They are now more careful about making healthy choices and read the labels to help them decide on the most nutritious option. They even want to help me with the weekly shopping! I feel that this is a great age to teach them how important it is to eat well and I want to congratulate you on the way you are doing this.
I sincerely hope that you will continue to be involved at the school as I believe the benefit the children are gaining from your program is substantial and will give them the knowledge they need to grow into healthy young adults. It was a pleasure to have the opportunity to help out at the grade 5/6 breakfast this morning. To see the kids all so enthusiastic and eager to participate in something so good for them was fantastic!
Keep up the great work,
Amanda Bonheur
